Mo-Kan Regional Council is pleased to provide services to your community.
As a condition of membership with Mo-Kan Regional Council, each local government
contributes a per capita fee of $0.35 to assist in defraying costs associated
with services provided. This fund is then used to match state and federal
dollars to support our agency. The following list of services are provided
on-demand at no additional costs to members of this Council.

Contractual
Services:
The following services can be performed by Mo-Kan staff by entering into
contractual relationships with local governments, not-for-profit corporations,
local development groups, Chambers of Commerce, and others. The fees charged
for these services are negotiated on a case-by-case basis using salary costs
and a fixed overhead rate to determine total fees. A sampling of such services
include: |
- Geographic
Information System (GIS) - Maps for cities, counties, roads and utilities
as well as comprehensive planning, zoning and transportation studies.
Other options are available upon request
- Surveys
on housing, population, labor availability, or any needed statistics
required for applications
- Preparation
of USDA-Rural Development Environmental Reviews
- Final
grant application preparation
- Compliance/oversight of federal and state programs
